KEY ALLIANCES

Burnt Orange Productions plans to produce about eight commercially-viable feature films in its first three years of operation. These films will fall into two categories - co-productions and in-house productions - and will leverage production talent from The University of Texas Film Institute, giving students highly specialized filmmaking experience on commercially-viable feature films and enriching the Austin film community with an independent studio with experienced management and an operating infrastructure.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD)
AMD is one of our lead investors and we plan to use their latest digital technology in all phases of filmmaking, from pre- to post-production. AMD is donating their high-end AMD OpteronTM processor-based workstations and servers to equip students in the University of Texas Film Institute with world-class digital film resources. Top filmmakers around the world such as George Lucas and Robert Rodriguez use the AMD processors to power some of today's most impressive digital effects. UT Film Institute Advisory Board
Burnt Orange and the Film Institute have the support, guidance and network of top industry leaders (and UT Alumni) on the Advisory Board. William Morris Agency (WMA)
WMA Independent, the division of the William Morris Agency handling independent films, will assist Burnt Orange Productions in obtaining distribution for its film projects and will advise in other areas, such as securing additional financing for their co-productions.
